In 1983, Clark finished his first prototype order in the spare room of his flat – a hand made, bright yellow, underwater camera, a presentation model for a reputable product design company. It was very well received and created an extraordinary moment for Clark – the realisation that he wanted to compete with the best model makers in the UK.
With Clark’s entrepreneurial flair, he has built the company on the founding principles of market-leading technology together with the best craftsmanship.
Gregory joined the CA Models team in 2006. He spent valuable time learning the inner workings of the company, from the factory floor to management level.
He is now responsible for production management, quality assurance, operational efficiency and it’s his commitment to clients that drives him to keep customers informed with progress reports, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
Gregory also works with the other members of the senior management team to progress the business model and is currently working on introducing a lean manufacturing system to streamline the company’s already fast-paced service.
Alison has been managing CA Models finances, IT, health and safety and office management amongst many other responsibilities since 1983.
Claire Anderson has recently taken up the mantle from Alison to become Office Manager, leaving Alison to concentrate on managing the finances and being a core board member involved in business development decisions.
Steven has been working with CA Models since 1989.
He has played a major role in the growth and transformation of the CNC department from 2 and 3-axis to 5-axis machining.
He is responsible for quoting and planning all CNC projects and he and his team program and machine each job to customer specifications through to final inspection.
Steven’s pattern and model making experience is pivotal to his understanding and ability to trouble shoot more complex prototyping projects in relation to CNC machining.
Working with CA Models since 1999, Don has a wealth of experience, particularly within the oil and gas industry.
He heads up our team of precision engineers, project managing production of complex engineering assemblies and structures.
With Don’s meticulous attention to accuracy, he ensures that all turned, milled and wire eroded prototype components reflect drawing specifications in every detail.
Claire joined CA Models in 2005 as a temporary administrator and has since progressed to her current role as Office Manager and PA to the Managing Director.
Over the years, she has gained a wealth of experience in almost all aspects of business administration, allowing her to efficiently supervise her team and coordinate the many different administrative facets of the company.
Claire currently manages CA Models credit control and expenditure monitoring, grant applications, IT and website maintenance, health and safety, as well as many other responsibilities.
