Working in conjunction with one of the most elite car manufacturers to produce working prototypes of the rear light clusters, initial designs were taken through each of the in-house facilities.

SLA proved to be the best option for the main housing and internal components, creating accuracy in short timescales.

3 axis machining was the most suitable method of manufacture for the Lens, creating precise parts machined from solid block clear acrylic. The team of in-house model makers meticulously hand-polished the components to a water-clear finish in preparation for the 30 off Vacuum Casting sets. High temperature Vacuum Casting material was required for the internal components which were then chrome plated and a UV stable clear system was utilised for the Lens castings to ensure no discolouration throughout the marketing tests.
